> Pro Tip: Water is the #1 cause of asphalt failure. If your contractor isn't checking the grade with a laser, your driveway will likely have puddles within a year.

MAXIMUM DENSITY

• We achieve 96% compaction using heavy-duty vibratory rollers. This seals out air and moisture, preventing the internal rotting that leads to "alligator" cracking.

> Pro Tip: A "smooth" surface doesn't mean it's compacted. We roll the asphalt while it’s at peak temperature to ensure it’s essentially waterproof.

CLIMATE-READY MIX

• Our asphalt is laid at a precise 135°C–150°C and is engineered to stay flexible even at -34°C. This prevents the brittle-snapping that happens to cheaper, non-specialized mixes during Ontario winters.​​

SOLID FOUNDATION

• We replace soft subgrade with Granular A crushed stone compacted in 6-inch lifts. This creates a non-yielding base that prevents ruts and sinking under the weight of trucks or SUVs.

> Pro Tip: Most "cheap" quotes skip the foundation work. We never pave over soft soil or organic matter—if the base isn't perfect, the asphalt won't be either.​

REINFORCED EDGES

• All perimeters are hand-compacted at a 45-degree angle. This creates a structural "wedge" that prevents the edges from crumbling when a vehicle drives near the side.​
